Kenyan tour operators, airline representatives and hoteliers called on the government not to accept the resignation of the wildlife director Richard Leakey, AFP reports from Nairobi. ' Dr Leakey offered to step down as the director of the Kenya Wildlife Service last Friday, saying he was being maligned by government ministers who accused him of corruption, mismanagement and racism.
