Kidnapping duke imprisoned
A Spanish aristocrat was sentenced to 18 years in prison by a Seville court yesterday for kidnapping, corruption of minors and drug trafficking, Reuter reports from Seville. Rafael Medina, the Duke of Feria and Marquis of Villalba, was charged with kidnapping a five-year-old girl in March 1993 and forcing her to pose naked for photographs. The girl's aunt, Isabel Santares, tried alongside the Duke, was sentenced to six years, while two other women, Mercedes Almeida and Sandra Alvarez, received six months.
