The Russian Prime Minister, Viktor Chernomyrdin, is in Germany to receive treatment for kidney stones, AP reports from Moscow.

Mr Chernomyrdin interrupted his holiday on the Black Sea coast on Sunday and travelled to southern Germany for treatment at a private clinic.
