A judge jailed 17 blacks for the Boipatong township massacre of 43 people by hostel-dwellers two years ago which temporarily derailed South Africa's transition to majority rule, Reuter reports from Pretoria. The accused, supporters of the Inkatha Freedom Party, received prison terms of 10 to 18 years.
