Rita Klimova, an ex-dissident who was the distinctive spokeswoman of Czechoslovakia's 'Velvet Revolution' and then became the Czech ambassador to the United States, died yesterday, AP reports from Prague. She was 61. Klimova underwent treatment for leukemia in the United States in 1990.
