A39-year-old man yesterday admitted stabbing tennis star Monica Seles with a kitchen knife at the Hamburg Open last April but said he did not plan to kill her, Reuter reports from Hamburg. Gunther Parche told a court he admitted to charges of grievous bodily harm, saying he had attacked Seles because she had replaced German Steffi Graf as number one in the women's rankings.
