Kurd confusion
The Kurdish rebels holding hostage six foreign tourists - four French, one Australian and a Briton - accused the Turkish authorities of hindering their release, AFP reports from Ankara.
The date and place of their release had twice been conveyed to mediators who were supposed to receive them, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) said. Reports that the Australian nurse Tania Miller and British engineer David Rowbotham had been released were denied by the Turkish Interior Ministry.
