Turkey freed two detained MPs, but six remained in custody after losing their immunity from prosecution, Reuter reports from Ankara.
Selim Sadak was released in the north-western town of Izmit, and will stand trial on charges carrying the death penalty. Six other Kurdish MPs accused of supporting separatism and another accused of slandering Turkey's national hero were detained this week after parliament stripped them of their immunity.
