A millionaire investment banker and a Chinese-American politician led Tuesday's first round of the mayoral election, Reuter reports from Los Angeles. The Republican, Richard Riordan, and the Democrat, Michael Woo, claimed the right to contest the run-off on 8 June that will produce a sucessor to Tom Bradley, mayor for the past 20 years.
