LA trial verdicts

The jury in the racially charged trial of two black men accused of beating a white lorry driver during the Los Angeles riots said on Saturday it had reached some verdicts but was deadlocked on others and saw no point in deliberating further, Reuter reports from Los Angeles. Judge John Ouderkirk said the panel's verdicts would be read today.
