Police patrolled the streets of Lagos yesterday to avert a third day of protests against a more than 600 per cent rise in fuel prices, Reuter reports rom Lagos. Businessmen and residents braced themselves for an indefinite all-out strike called by trade unions from Monday if the interim government fails to reverse the price rises.
