Paris (Reuter) - The former Black Panther, Stokely Carmichael, hit out at the film maker Spike Lee, director of Malcolm X, in an interview in the Paris African weekly Jeune Afrique to be published next week.
Speaking at his home in a modest suburb of Conakry, Guinea, the 51-year-old revolutionary said: 'Spike Lee is incapable of making a film about Malcolm X. (Lee) is a petty bourgeois who took the choice of selling his people for a fistful of dollars. Malcolm X was a revolutionary.'
