Denmark, criticised by Amnesty International a week ago, suspended police use of 'leg-lock' on detainees pending a medical inquiry into its effects, Reuter reports from Copenhagen. 'Leg-lock' involves handcuffing trouble-makers behind the back, bending both their legs at the knee, wedging one foot against the opposite knee and placing the other foot of the detainee up under the handcuffs.
