Tokyo - A man who caused a smoker's death by kicking him after he lit up in a no-smoking area at a Japanese railway station has escaped a prison term. After a barrage of appeals for leniency by anti-smoking activists, the district court in Urawa, north of Tokyo, gave Kazuo Kuwahara, 28, a three-year suspended sentence. Reuter
