Little relief in lift convictions

Singapore authorities claim to have dramatically reduced urinating in lifts. Only 14 people were convicted of the offence last year, compared with 40 the previous year. For more than 10 years, some lifts have been equipped with sensors that stop the carriage if they detect urine, trapping the culprit until police arrive. AP - Singapore
