'Man had uterus'
Indian doctors have removed a fully developed uterus from an otherwise normal 30-year-old man, Jang Bahadur, who had complained of a swelling in his groin since childhood, AFP reports from New Delhi.
Usha Maheshwari, the surgeon, said the Fallopian tubes were attached and a sperm duct opened into the vagina, raising the possibility of 'self-impregnation' if the ovaries had been present. She said that since Mr Bahadur was genetically a male, his case was not one of classic hermaphroditism.
