Mandela ignores safety fears
Durban - President Nelson Mandela ventured into the volatile Zulu heartland yesterday, brushing aside concerns for his safety a day after shots rang out at a funeral he attended for victims of a political massacre. Mr Mandela toured two trouble-torn areas of KwaZulu-Natal province, telling his supporters he would not be threatened by political criminals. Reuter
