Siwa, Egypt - Residents of this oasis village pelted their mayor with stones, seriously injuring him, after tales of their homosexuality and unfaithful wives appeared in the Egyptian women's magazine Nisf al-Donia. Many of the 10,000 Bedouins blamed the mayor, Abdel Wahab Tahun, when the popular women's weekly published a report on their sex lives last week, quoting unidentified village officials. AFP
