Bratislava - The party of the ousted prime minister, Vladimir Meciar, is ahead in the Slovak elections, according to exit polls. Mr Meciar's Movement for a Democratic Slovakia was given 31 per cent of the vote and the Common Choice group, led by former Communists, 12.3 per cent. Reuter
