AUruguayan court gave France 45 days to request the extradition of the former mayor of Nice Jacques Medecin, who was sentenced in absentia by a French court to a year in jail for corruption, Reuter reports from Montevideo. He was arrested last Thursday at the request of a Nice prosecutor.
