Montevideo - The former Nice mayor Jacques Medecinis to be extradited to France, where he has been charged with corruption and fraud. The decision to extradite Mr Medecin won approval in the Uruguayan Appeals Court. He fled to the resort town of Punta del Este on Uruguay's coast in 1990 after French police issued a warrant for his arrest. AFP
