BUCHAREST (Reuter) - Romania's opposition National Liberal Party proposed the former King Michael as their presidential contender in a move likely to plunge Romanian political groups into disarray ahead of September elections. Other opposition leaders immediately attacked the gesture as a cheap and damaging propaganda stunt. Michael, 70, who is in exile in Switzerland, has not commented on the selection.
