A flotilla of ships carrying tons of supplies for the Gaza Strip will set sail for the blockaded territory today, the organiser said.
The sailing has been delayed several times. If the ships set sail from waters off Cyprus on schedule, they will reach the area tomorrow.
The Israeli army says the ships will be intercepted before they reach Gaza's coast and towed to an Israeli port. It says activists will be given the choice of being deported or jailed, and the cargo will be transferred to Gaza for distribution after a security check.
The organiser, Dror Feiler, told Army Radio today that the hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists aboard the ships would passively resist if Israeli seamen boarded the vessels.
