A suicide bomber detonated his car yesterday outside Baghdad's police academy, killing 20. It was the latest in a series of strikes that Iraqis blame on political feuding.
Police said the bomber waited outside the fortified academy, near the Interior Ministry headquarters. As recruits passed through security barriers at about 1pm, the bomber drove towards them and blew up his car.
