Explosion goes off near Palestinian Prime Minister's convoy on rare Gaza visit
Videos posted to social media and on Palestinian TV appear to show the moment a large explosion struck the convoy of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah during a rare visit to the Gaza Strip.
Mr Hamdallah himself was not harmed in the incident, which occurred shortly after his convoy entered the Hamas-controlled area, but local reports said a number of people in the convoy suffered minor injuries. The Palestinian Authority blamed militants for the attack and said Hamas had not provided adequate security.
