Jerusalem: Christians celebrate the Resurrection

Thousands of Christians held candles at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem's Old City yesterday during the ceremony of the Holy Fire.

The church is traditionally believed to be where Jesus was briefly entombed after his crucifixion. Pilgrims lit candles from a flame that emerged from the tomb in a ritual celebrating his Resurrection.
