Villagers who formed a lynch-mob and killed a murder suspect have been warned they will be brought to justice.
Their victim was Mohammed Msallem, an Egyptian living in the mountain village of Ketermaya, who had been arrested on suspicion of killing an elderly couple and their two granddaughters. The mob overwhelmed his police captors, stabbed him to death and then hung him with a butcher's hook from a pole in the village square. Some witnesses said police rescued him and took him to hospital, only for the crowd to break in and seize him.
