LYONS (AP) - A sniper opened fire yesterday on drivers travelling along a motorway crowded with returning holidaymakers, wounding four people. A dozen vehicles travelling north were hit by bullets on the main north-south A6 highway near Villefranche-sur-Saone, north of Lyons. One person was struck by a bullet and three were hurt by broken glass.
