Tunis - Two Armed Islamic Group leaders, Abderrazak Redjem and Youcef Boubras, have deserted over a plan to murder the daughter of a jailed Islamist leader, Abassi Madani, president of the outlawed Islamic Salvation Front, Algerian newspapers reported. The plan was to kill her "because she does not wear the hidjab [veil] and blame it on the authorities," said Libert, El Watan and Tribune. Reuter
