French police were working on the theory yesterday that a corpse found in a Paris suburban garden could have been a stowaway in the landing gear of a plane, AFP reports from Paris.

The body of a dark-skinned man, carrying no identity papers, was discovered on Thursday in Eaubonne, north of Paris. Several branches and telephone wires above the body were broken.
