The two main leaders of Tajikistan's Popular Front, which propelled the Central Asian republic's new leadership to power late last year, have been killed in mysterious circumstances, Reuter reports from Moscow.
An official at the Tajik embassy said that Sangak Safarov and his deputy, Faizuli Zaripov - who had argued bitterly over the movement's aims - were killed overnight.
