The Princess Royal's limousine was nearly rammed last weekend by an unidentified car as she drove to Moscow airport while on a visit to the former Soviet Union, AP reports from Moscow.
Police fired at the car in which only a male driver was seen. It sped away without hitting the limousine, and neither the princess nor any of her entourage was hurt. A police spokesman said the incident 'in all likelihood was not an assassination effort but just an act of reckless driving'.
