The husband of the former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto, jailed for the past two years on murder charges, was sworn in yesterday as one of 17 new ministers in Pakistan's five-day-old caretaker government, Reuter reports from Islamabad.
Asif Ali Zardari, 39, took the oath of office at the presidential palace just two months after he was released on bail by a special anti- terrorist court in Karachi.
