WELLINGTON (Reuter) - Chris Laidlaw, scrum half for New Zealand's All Blacks rugby union side in the 1960s, was elected to parliament for the opposition Labour Party yesterday. Mr Laidlaw, 53, defeated candidates from the National Party and the Alliance coalition for the parliamentary seat of central Wellington.
