'No deportations'

JERUSALEM (AFP) - The Justice Minister, David Libai, wants to end deportations of Palestinians from the occupied territories, his spokesman said yesterday. Mr Libai will seek to convince the Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, that deportation has no dissuasive effect on Palestinians and violates the Fourth Geneva Convention on the treatment of people living under occupation.
