Santiago - Chile's former military ruler, General Augusto Pinochet, said he felt sorrow for Chileans killed under his regime, but would do nothing differently if history repeated itself. Celebrating his 80th birthday he said he was proud of averting a civil war when he overthrew President Salvador Allende in 1973. Reuter
