David and Sharon Schoo, who were arrested last December for leaving their two young daughters at home unsupervised while they holidayed in Mexico, have given up the girls for adoption, AP reports from Chicago.
They pleaded guilty in April to charges of neglect, and were sentenced to probation and community service. Carole Grahn-Hayes, a lawyer for their daughters, Nicole, 9, and Diana, 4, confirmed the adoption release.
