Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinian militants and blew up underground hideouts yesterday during a helicopter-backed raid in the occupied West Bank, military and Arab reports said, AP reports from Hebron.

The raid came amid intense unrest in the occupied lands, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where nine Palestinians, including four children, have been killed in a week.
