Panama City (AFP) - Security forces are on alert in Panama following the bold first move of a previously unknown rebel group, the 20-December-Torrijista Patriotic Vanguard (or VPT-20), that has claimed responsibility for kidnapping three US missionaries, government sources said on Sunday.
