Papandreou wins
The former Greek Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou accepted an undisclosed sum for damages and court costs from the publishers of Time International to settle a libel suit, AP reports from London. Mr Papandreou's lawyer, Karen Sanig, told a judge at the High Court that an article on 13 March 1989 suggested that he accepted bribes from the owner of a bank and threatened to have him murdered.
