Italy and the United Nations appear on the verge of patching up their bitter row over Rome's troops in Somalia, Reuter reports from New York.
Diplomats said they expected the 800 Italian troops in Mogadishu to be deployed in other parts of Somalia and Rome to withdraw its commander, General Bruno Loi.
