Pilot's error spotted

Bonn - Pilot error apparently helped cause last month's crash of an airliner off the Dominican Republic that killed all 189 people, mostly Germans, the Transport Ministry said yesterday. It said the pilot chose to take off although he knew a speed indicator was defective. AP
