Mogadishu - Amnesty International has appealed to the Somali warlord Mohamed Farrah Aideed to free a local journalist working for the BBC and Agence France-Presse. Last week General Aideed said Ali Musa Abdi would be tried for "serious crimes". The arrest appeared to stem from reports carried on the BBC Focus On Africa programme.
