The Russia's Choice party headed by the radical reformer Yegor Gaidar held a clear lead over rivals in an opinion poll published yesterday, three weeks before parliamentary elections, Reuter reports from Moscow. But the poll, conducted for a television news programme, suggested Russia could be heading for a fragmented new legislature following the 12 December vote.
