The Pope has postponed a long-promised visit to Lebanon because of the bombing of a church and many other 'grave incidents', the Papal Nuncio, Monsignor Pablo Puente, announced yesterday, AFP reports from Beirut. He said the Pope was concerned that a 'crazy element' could carry out an attack against the Lebanese people during a public gathering.
