BOGOTA (Reuter) - The Colombian government nearly doubled the price on the cocaine king Pablo Escobar's head yesterday to 5bn pesos (pounds 4.6m). The increase was anounced by the Interior Minister, Fabio Villegas, three days after a Bogota car bomb killed 21 people and injured 67. President Cesar Gaviria blamed Escobar for the attack. 'We do not just want to encourage those who want to collaborate with (the authorities) but also show that that government will not hesitate in its determination to combat these narco-terrorist organisations,' Mr Villegas said.
