An Iranian foundation yesterday increased its dollars 2m ( pounds 1.4m) reward for Salman Rushdie's head, AFP reports from Tehran. The size of the increase was not disclosed. Besides the reward, the 15 Khordad (5 June) foundation also offered to foot the bill for any expenses incurred in executing Ayatollah Khomeini's fatwa.
