The elder brother of Pablo Escobar, the drug baron shot dead this month, underwent eye surgery on Saturday night after being injured by a letter bomb in his prison cell, Reuter reports from Bogota. Roberto Escobar was rushed to hospital in Medellin after a letter bomb exploded in his cell at the Itagui maximum security prison during visiting hours on Saturday afternoon.
