At least 250 people have died after an earthquake and mudslide devastated a remote south-western Colombian valley, and the number could go higher, an official at the National Disaster Prevention Office in the capital said, Reuter reports from Bogota. The disaster occurred on Monday afternoon, when a strong earthquake shook the area.
