There were tears and prayers as relatives of the 37 British dead in the Nepal air crash witnessed the devastation yesterday, the Press Association reports. They made their sad pilgrimage to the hillside in a convoy of nine Land Rovers, then climbed 500ft to the spot. They laid flowers and a wreath among the debris and lit candles. The 49 relatives and friends are expected back in Britain this week. About 18 bodies are missing and may never be recovered.
